For fifty years, Linda Gleason has served Ladies Ministries in various capacities with a rare combination of vision, humility, and compassion. During the past twenty years in national leadership—ten years as ladies ministries secretary and ten years as president—she has exemplified the mission of Ladies Ministries to equip and mobilize Apostolic ladies of the world for service in the kingdom of God; to maintain a spirit of cooperation with the various ministries of the organization; to preserve Apostolic doctrine; and to maintain and transmit the heritage of the past to the present and future generations through teaching and by example.
Linda Gleason has not only upheld this mission—she has advanced it.
Her leadership has always reflected the character of Christ: kind, caring, thoughtful, and generous. Whether she was casting vision for the future, encouraging a weary soul, or praying for the needs of others, she did so with grace and sincerity. To know her is to feel seen, valued, and loved.
Under her direction, our annual Mothers Memorial offering reached new heights, breaking records and expanding its impact year after year. Yet beyond the numbers, what truly mattered to her was the purpose behind it all—the expansion of God’s kingdom and the proclamation of Apostolic truth that burns so deeply in her heart. Her passion for the mission has inspired us all to serve with greater faith and purpose.
Those who worked closest with her often speak of her careful thought in every decision and her generosity of spirit. What sets her apart is her ability to bring out the best in others and to find solutions where others see obstacles. She led not from a platform of authority, but from a posture of service. Her steady example has shaped the culture of Ladies Ministries—one built on love, integrity, and unwavering devotion to God’s calling.
Global and North American missions have always been her heartbeat. She has built a strong foundation for the future—one that we are committed to building upon. We will continue to advance her vision and dedication to Ladies Ministries, striving to live up to the example she has set before us.
As she steps into retirement, we recognize that her legacy is not only in what she accomplished, but in who she is: a servant leader whose life testifies to faithfulness and compassion. Her influence will continue to echo through every life she has touched and every ministry she has strengthened.
Sister Gleason, we thank you for fifty years of faithful service, for leading us with heart and conviction, and for showing us what it means to live and lead for the glory of God. You have left us richer in spirit, stronger in purpose, and forever grateful.
